  • Very clean and spacious, felt right at home with more than the basic amenities provided by Lauren. There was plenty to do in the area and we had a wonderful time hiking the parks. Lauren, the host, provided plenty of details and recommendations on things to do in the area and places to eat. This was very helpful and made it easy to plan our days activities and dinners.   • The Fox Den was the perfect getaway! I have never slept in a more comfortable bed in a vacation rental. The home is beautifully decorated and yet so comfortable and welcoming. Lauren was available and helpful throughout our stay. The only problem is that we had to leave and go back to reality! I will surely book the Fox Den next time I come to Deep Creek!

  • The condo was lovely. It had a deck that overlooks the lake with comfortable outdoor seating and a gas fire table. The bed was very comfortable, and linens wonderful. She had beautiful towels, and the softest blankets to cuddle in front of the TV to watch a football game. Lauren went out of her way to make sure that we could get our alma mater’s football game on TV. This condominium is loved and well cared for. Lauren had attention to detail with everything from tasty snacks, bottled water in the refrigerator, and very nice toiletries. Communication was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay again.

  • Ooooh this one's getting bookmarked. Lauren's place was a fantastic weekend getaway for us city dwellers who needed a break to disconnect. The unit is very attractively decorated, lovely plush towels, and very well stocked. It rained our whole time there, but we didn't mind one bit. We chilled by the fire, drank tea and cocoa, and listened to the rain on the glass, and read. We frequent the Deep Creek area, so we know there's plenty to do, but Lauren's place was so nice that we didn't feel the need to. It's the perfect place for a getaway no matter if you want something quiet or something active.
